In April 4-30, 2014, Professor Cheng Chung-yi came to Peking University's Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies as a visiting scholar. In the morning of April 11, there was a heated communication between Professor Cheng Chung-yi and doctors, post-doctors from the Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies. Professor Cheng Chung-yi first introduced his student career and studying methods. Later, he provided guidance and advice for each doctor and post-doctor for research methods and subject study, and answered many academic questions.
In the morning of April 13, Professor Cheng Chung-yi gave a lesson on Neo-Confucianism to students from Cultural China Scholars Program. In his teaching, complex things are explained in simple words. Later, Professor Cheng Chung-yi would continue communication with students and guide the Cultural China Scholars Program.
