Recently, Assistant Researcher Lu Yin came to the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nanjing University, and Central China Normal University for academic conferences on Chinese literature, medieval history, and modern history, and published monograph.
On March 8, 2014, Assistant Researcher Lu Yin was invited to attend International Emerging Scholars' Workshop: "Emperor, Chanyu, Scholar: Medieval China and Surrounding World" held by Institute for Advanced Humanistic and Science Studies at Nanjing University, and read out thesis "On Six Dynasties: Medieval Reflection of Scholar-bureaucrats' Political & Religious Ideas in Late Qing Dynasty".
In July 19-20, 2014, Assistant Researcher Lu Yin was invited to "Transformation of Scholars and Society in Modern Times" seminar held by the Institute of Modern History at Central China Normal University, and read out thesis "Education Reform and School Fight in Hubei-Hunan Academy of Classical Learning in Late Qing Dynasty".
Also, Lu Yin also published two long theses on Modern China and Journal of Chinese Literature: "Writing and Education: A Chinese Perspective of Enlightenment Reform Before and After Hundred Days' Reform" (Modern China, Volume 15, Peking University Press, July 2014, pp 66-97) and "Grammar in Late Qing Dynasty: From Ma's Grammar to Grammata Serica" (Journal of Chinese Literature, Issue 4, Chinese University of Hong Kong, December 2013, pp 55-82).
