On the morning of March 8th 2016, Professor Peimin Ni (Dr. of Philosophy at the University of Connecticut, Grand Valley State University,United States) gave a lecture at Room 103, No.4 Building, Lee Kaishing Complex at PKU. Professor Peimin Ni pointed out the philosophy within the ideology of Belt and Road around two keywords: "community with a shared future", and "win-win cooperation". This philosophy is deeply rooted in the revitalization of the Chinese traditional culture. The Belt and Road is not only an economic strategy, but also it means the emergence of a new world order. The Chinese traditional thought is not looking for a legal status of "the other", but took the responsibility of "in my destiny", and it strives to establish the subjectivity of Chinese civilization and international status. After the speech, professor Peimin Ni and the participating teachers and students had a warm interaction.
