On Sept.7th, 2016, jointly sponsored by China Culture Institute and Beijing San-Chi Culture Academy, Yangming Forum Preparatory Meeting was held at China Cultural Center. Our executive vice dean Professor Ni Peimin attended the meeting and made a speech.

At the preparatory meeting, the theme of Yangming Forum was set as "human’s wisdom and common destiny", and the forum will be open on Oct. 15, 2016. 

This forum will start from the key items of Yangming’s philosophy, and it hope can dig out philosophical treasures that deeply buried in the Chinese national spirit, and extract Chinese cultural core values which can represent our national characters. Therefore, two days'summit will focus on four themes: "The significance and contemporary value of Wang Yangming's philosophy", "The Unity of Theory and Practice", "Attaining conscience", and "Yangming Philosophy and Value System".The forum also hope that through the research and practice of Yangming, power source for enterprise innovation and social transformation could be founded, and also hope that through popularization of Yangming, more people’s conscience can be awakened and we could together make efforts to restore good morality for the society. 

Xu Jialu, chairman of the Chinese Culture Academy was appointed as the chairman of the Organizing Committee,and Professor Tu weiming was invited to serve as vice chairman of the Forum's Organizing Committee. Professor Tu Weiming and Professor Ni Peimin will attend the forum and deliver keynote speeches respectively around themes of "Attaining Conscience" and "Yangming Philosophy and Value System”.
