Funded and founded by the Turkish Women's Cultural Association (TURKKAD), “Ken'an Raria Islamic Study Lecture" program annually supports one or two outstanding scholars specialized in Islamic studies (especially those make valuable contributions to the study and practice of Sufism) to visit Peking University. IAHS will be responsible for supporting and carry out lectures. As experts in Sufism and Chinese Islamic studies, Mr. William Chittick, a professor of the Department of Asian & Asian American Studies at Stony Brook University, and Ms. Sachiko Murata was the first professors of Ken'an Rafia Study Lecture visited Peking University in the spring of 2012.
